Al-Anbar (IraqiNews.com) On Monday, 180 U.S. military advisors arrived in Ain al-Asad in western Ramadi to train Iraqi forces and help set the plan for targeting ISIS locations and liberate al-Anbar.

IraqiNews correspondent reported, “180 U.S. military advisors arrived today in Ain al-Asad near Baghdad area, 90 km west of Ramadi. The military advisors came in Iraqi and U.S. military airplanes.”

He said, “The U.S. military advisors will help in training Iraqi combat forces to fight ISIS on the ground while the US-led coalition is supporting them by providing aerial cover. They will also help in setting the plan to liberate the province of Al-Anbar as they work closely with the Iraqi security forces.”

Noteworthy, al-Anbar is witnessing severe decline in security since the ISIS group invaded all territories of the province and advanced towards Diyali and Salahuddin regions; however, some clashes between Iraqi forces and ISIS militants are taking place in and around the province.
