19 security elements killed, wounded in the battles of northern Salah al-Din

(IraqiNews.com) Salah AL-Dien – A security source in Salahuddin province announced on Wednesday, that 19 elements of the joint forces had been either killed or wounded in the battles to liberate Salah al-Din areas (170 km north of Baghdad).

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “The outcome of the battles that were launched, today, to liberate Salahuddin from control ISIS, has reached 7 dead 12 wounded.”

The source, who asked anonymity, added: “The dead and the wounded fell during confrontations with ISIS on the outskirts of al-Siniya area and parts of Baiji (40 km north of Tikrit).”
