 199 explosives dismantled west of Anbar, says Al-Jzeera and al-Bdiya Operations

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – The commander of al-Jzeera and al-Bdiya Operations, Major General Ali Ibrahim, announced on Saturday dismantling 199 explosive devices west of Anbar.

Ibrahim said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “The security forces were able to blow up and destroy booby-trapped vehicles driven by suicide bombers and seize 40 Katyusha rockets during a military operation by the security forces in al-Sakra region western Haditha (180 km west of Ramadi).”

Ibrahim added that “the security forces also managed to destroy four houses, in addition to killing a sniper and the bombing of 199 explosive devices in the same area.”
