2 dead and 5 injured in a mortar Shell fall in Northern Baghdad
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A source within the Iraqi Police Force on Thursday stated that “2 people were killed and 5 injured in a mortar shell fall in Northern Baghdad.” The source said “Mortar shells from an unknown origin, this evening, hit the al-Dawanem neighbourhood in al-Shula district in north of Baghdad and resulted in 2 dead and 5 wounded.” The security force shortly blockaded the area of the shell fall and moved the 2 killed to the forensic medicine authority then rushed the injured ones to a nearby hospital for treatment.
