2 militants killed while planting bomb in eastern Tikrit

Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) On Tuesday, a security source in Salahuddin province said, that two militants have been killed in an explosion of a bomb that they attempted to plant in eastern Tikrit.

The source informed IraqiNews, “Today, two militants attempted to plant an explosive on the main road at al-Askari neighborhood in central Tooz district, located 90 km eastern Tikrit,” pointing out that, “The bomb went off resulting in their death immediately.”

“A security force has blockaded the area of the explosion and transferred the dead in order to identify their bodies,” the source added.
