2 policemen killed in suicide bombing southeast of Samawa

(IraqiNews.com) Muthana – A security force in Muthana province stated that at least two policemen were killed in a suicide bombing that targeted a security checkpoint southeast of Samawa.
According to information shared by the source, it was stated, “A booby-trapped vehicle driven by a suicide bomber exploded at noon today targeting an al-Ameed police checkpoint in al-Memalha area (45 km southeast of Samawa), and killing two policemen.”
The source added, “Security forces rushed to the area and transferred the dead bodies to the forensic department, and imposed a security cordon around the area and barred approaching it.”
