 21,000 Iraqis killed, injured in 2015, says OHCHR

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – High Commissioner for Human Rights announced on Thursday, that more than 21 thousand Iraqis were either killed or wounded in the violence and terrorism that hit the country since the beginning of 2015 until now, considering those operations as “genocide systematic crimes,” calling for the referral of ISIS to the International Criminal Court.

Commission member Fadel Ghraoui said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “there is a remarkable rise in the number of ISIS operations against the Iraqi people,” pointing out that “in 2014, High Commissioner for Human Rights have documented the number of victims of terrorist attacks, considering it as the bloodiest year.”
