22 Hezbollah fighters nabbed near borders with Iran

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi security forces arrested 22 of the Iraq’s Hezbollah Brigades fighters in a series of operation southeast of Baghdad far towards the border with Iran, a U.S. spokesman said on Friday. “The operations relied on intelligence tip-offs,” Nadir Suleiman, U.S. forces media advisor, told Aswat all-Iraq news agency. He said that one of the militants was killed during the operations. U.S. officials accuse Hezbollah Brigades of getting support from Iran to wage attacks against Iraqi and U.S forces so as to destabilize Iraq’s security. MH (P)/AmR 2
