 22 ISIS elements killed, wounded in bombing southwest of Kirkuk

(IraqiNews.com) A security source in Kirkuk announced on Saturday, that 22 elements of the ISIS group have been either killed or wounded in a bombing carried out by the US-led international coalition targeting ISIS sites southwest of the province.

The source said in an interview with for IraqiNews.com, “The US-led international coalition aircrafts bombed this evening a number of ISIS sites between Baiji district and villages in Riyadh area and Hamrin mountains―within the borderline between Kirkuk and Salahuddin in the outskirts of Ajil oilfields (85 km southwest of Kirkuk)― which resulted in killing 15 militants and injuring 7 others.”

The source, who preferred to remain anonymous, added, “The bombing was based on accurate intelligence.”
