(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – The leadership of al-Hashed al-Shaabi in Anbar Province announced on Friday, that 22 fighters of the so-called ISIS were killed in an aerial bombardment carried out by the International coalition aviation and an artillery shelling carried out by the Iraqi Army in Fallujah and Saqlawiyah, while pointed out to the destruction of four vehicles mounted with weapons and a rocket launcher.

The commander of Karmat Fallujah brigade in al-Hashed al-Shaabi, Colonel Khamis Bahr al-Halbusi, said in a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, “The international coalition aircraft and artillery of the Iraqi Army bombed ISIS strongholds and gatherings in the areas of al-Bazara and Golan in Fallujah and Albu Obeid and Albu Bedaiwi in Saqlawiyah, killing 22 ISIS fighters.”

Halbusi added, “The bombing also resulted in the destruction of four armed vehicles and a rocket launcher in the agricultural area in central Saqlawiyah,” noting that, “The bombing significantly weakened the ISIS capabilities.”
