 23 ISIS terrorists killed, 7 wheels destroyed in Hamrin area, says Federal Police

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Tuesday, Federal Police Chief Raed Shakir Jawdat announced that the security forces have killed 23 ISIS terrorists, as well as the destruction of seven wheels in Hamrin area, Salahuddin province.

Jawdat said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “A force of the Federal Police backed by al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia has launched today a surprise attack on a convoy belonging to ISIS at the top of Hamrin Mountains in Salahuddin province.”

“The attack resulted in killing 23 ISIS elements and the destruction of seven wheels,” Jawdat added.

It is noteworthy that the military operations are continuing in the Salahuddin province to liberate the rest of the regions from ISIS, amid considerable progress of the security forces and al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia.
