 25 ISIS elements killed in Baiji, says Federal Police

(IraqiNews.com) Salahuddin – Federal Police announced that its forces seized a laboratory for booby-trapping vehicles in an area north-east of Tikrit in Salahuddin province, and managed to kill 25 ISIS elements in the area of Baiji.

Federal police captain Raed Jawdat announced in a press statement that “the federal commandos, in coordination with the intelligence agency, raided a plant for booby-trapping vehicles in the area of al-Alam northeast of Tikrit.”

Jawdat explained that “the forces seized 50 rockets and dozens of explosive devices.”

He also stressed stressed that his forces “killed 25 terrorists and managed to wound others, in addition to burning four hideouts in different areas.”
