3 persons killed, wounded in tribal dispute in Basra

Basra (IraqiNews) An official source informed, on Saturday, that a person was killed while two others were injured in a tribal dispute in Basra Province.
In a press statement, the source said that a tribal dispute broke out, today, in al-Zubair District, in the province of Basra, while pointed out that light and medium weapons were used during the dispute.
Furthermore, the source explained, on condition of anonymity, that the dispute resulted in the killing of one person and injury of two others.
It is noteworthy that the province of Basra is characterized by a relatively stable security situation, but it has witnessed several armed tribal conflicts since 2003 during the Iraq War, usually resulting in victims.
