3 volunteer soldiers wounded in bomb blast south of Baghdad

( Baghdad – A source within the police said on Sunday, that three elements of the paramilitary al-Hashed al-Sha’bi force have been wounded in a bomb blast south of Baghdad.

The source told, “An explosive device that was planted on the side of the road in the area of Latifiya (south of Baghdad) exploded targeting a patrol of al-Hashed al-Sha’bi,” noting that, “The bomb blast resulted in injuring three members of the patrol.”

The source, who requested anonymity, added, “The security forces cordoned off the area of the blast, while the injured were transferred to a nearby hospital.”
