30 ISIS militants killed in clashes with Iraqi forces near al-Saidiya
Diyali (IraqiNews.com) On Wednesday, the president of the Provincial Council of Diyali, Ali al-Tamimi announced 30 ISIS elements were killed in violent clashes with Iraqi forces.
Al-Tamimi informed IraqiNews, “Iraqi tribal fighters have killed 30 ISIS elements including foreigners during the past 24 hours in the areas surrounding al-Saidiya, 60 km northeast of Baqubah.”
Noteworthy, the head of Diyali police force Gen. Officer Gamil al-Shamri announced that, an extensive ground operation with support from IAF began to liberate al-Saidiya district in northeast Baqubah.
