38 men excuted by ISIS for escaping battlefield

(IraqiNews.com) On Thursday, a Kurdish official said that ISIS had executed 38 of its gunmen in Mosul, stressing that the execution was on the back of their escape from the battlefield.

Media official of the Kurdistan Democratic Party Mimousine Saeed said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “The ISIS group executed this morning 38 of its armed men in al-Salamiya area eastern Mosul,” noting that, “The execution came after their escape from the battlefields.”

Mimousine added, “Their bodies were taken to an unknown location.”

The past few days have witnessed operations against ISIS militants in the provinces of Kirkuk, Salahuddin and the security forces managed to regain control of large areas.
