4 ISIS boats used to transfer bombers destroyed at northeast of Baquba

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A local source in Diyala province informed on Sunday that the security forces have destroyed four boats in the vicinity of Hamrin Lake northeast of Baquba district, adding that ISIS used to use these boats to transport explosives and suicide bombers.

Sharing details the source said, “The joint security forces carried out cleansing operations in Hamrin Lake, 55 km north east of Baquba, and destroyed four boats that were used by ISIS to transfer explosives and suicide bombers.”

“Some areas of Hamrin Lake are still experiencing active armed shelling by ISIS despite the preventive security measures taken to minimize its risks,” further added the source seeking anonymity.
