4 people killed, 10 injured in south Baghdad bombing

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A security source announced Wednesday, that four people were killed and ten others were wounded by a car bomb in Mahmudiya, south of Baghdad.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “A car bomb driven by a suicide bomber went off this evening at the entrance of Mahmudiya district south of Baghdad, leaving four dead and ten wounded, including civilians.”

The source, who requested anonymity, added, “Ambulances transported the injured to a nearby hospital and the bodies of the dead to the Forensic Medicine Authority.”
