(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Iraqi police said on Thursday, that four soldiers had been injured in a bomb blast that targeted their patrol in southern Baghdad.

The source said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “Today, an explosive device that was emplaced on the road side of the main road in the area of Arab Jabour in southern Baghdad had targeted an army patrol resulting in the injury of four elements and material damages to their vehicle.”

The source added, “A security force transferred the injured to a nearby hospital and carried out raids in search of the perpetrators of the incident.”
