4 wanted persons arrested, arms seized in Missan

MISSAN / IraqiNews.com: The police captured four men wanted on criminal charges and seized weapons south and east of the city of al-Amara on Friday, a local security source in Missan province said on Friday. “Security forces arrested four men wanted on charges of murder, theft and kidnapping south of Amara,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Forces from the Emergency Police Department launched search raids in al-Kahlaa district, (18 km) east of Amara, seizing four Kalashnikov assault rifles, three hand-grenades, two boxes of munitions and 20 magazines,” the source added, not giving further details.
