 40 ISIS elements killed including 2 suicide bombers in Fallujah

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – Baghdad Operations Command announced on Tuesday, that 40 members, including two suicide bombers of the so-called the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) were killed during a security operation in Fallujah (62 km west of Baghdad).

Baghdad Operations Command’s Spokesman Brigadier General Saad Maan said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “For the third day in a row, Baghdad Operations Command continues the cleansing of Albu Shajel area northwest of Fallujah,” pointing out that, “The operation was carried out in coordination with the international coalition aviation, Iraqi Air Force and Iraqi Army Aviation, engineering teams, in addition to the artillery and missile backing brigades.”

Maan added, “The security operation resulted in the killing of more than forty terrorists, including the terrorist leader Tariq Shibl Qaraghuli and two suicide bombers,” indicating that, “38 terrorists were wounded in the operation and 31 explosive devices were dismantled.”
