5 dead, 17 injured in Bab al-Mo’atham bombing in Baghdad

 

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) According to a police source, five people were killed and at least 17 others were wounded in a car bomb explosion in al-Bab al-Mo’atham in central Baghdad.

The source said in an interview with IraqiNews.com, “A car bomb exploded this evening on roadside of al-Moqatel Yard in al-Bab al-Mo’atham area, leaving five people dead and 17 others injured.”

The source, who requested to remain anonymous, added, “The injured are still receiving treatment at nearby hospitals, while the dead bodies were transferred to the Forensic Medicine Authority.”
