(IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – A source in Nineveh Operations Command announced on Monday, that the security forces evacuated 500 families from a village in Qayyarah vicinity, south of Mosul, and transferred them to the refugee camps in Makhmur.

The source said in an interview followed by IraqiNews.com, “This morning, a force from the army’s 15th brigade evacuated 500 families from the village of Kharaeb Jabr in Qayyarah vicinity, after liberating it from ISIS control.”

The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, added, “The families were transferred to the displaced persons camps in Makhmur district south of Mosul.”
