6 elements of al-Hashed al-Shaabi killed, wounded in bomb blast south of Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Sunday, a source in the Iraqi Ministry of Interior announced, that six elements of al-Hashed al-Shaabi had been either killed or wounded in a bomb blast that targeted their patrol south of Baghdad.
The source said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “This morning, a bomb that targeted one of al-Hashed al-Shaabi patrols exploded in Hor Rajab village in Dora area south of Baghdad, killing one of the patrol elements and wounding five others, as well as causing material damage to the vehicle.”
“A security force rushed to the area and evacuated the wounded to a nearby hospital to receive treatment and the dead body to the forensic medicine department, while a raid and search operation was carried out to search for the perpetrators of the bombing,” the source added.
