(IraqiNews.com) A source at the Interior Ministry said on Tuesday that six people had been either killed or wounded in the explosion of an explosive device southwest of Baghdad.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com: “An explosive device exploded, this morning, in a street in Amil district southwest Baghdad, resulting in the death of two people and wounding four others.”

The source, who asked anonymity, added: “the security forces rushed to the scene and transported the wounded to a nearby hospital for treatment and the bodies of the dead to the forensic medicine department,” without giving further details.
