Al-Anbar (IraqiNews.com) On Sunday, a security source in Anbar province said, that the Iraqi forces killed 60 ISIS elements including a key leader within the group during an operation in al-Anbar province.

General-Officer Diaa Kazim stated to IraqiNews, “Iraqi forces backed by the U.S.-led international coalition warplanes conducted a security operation in the areas of northeast of Haditha, located 160 km west of Ramadi.”

“The security forces liberated the areas of al-Allus and Albu Hayat,” Kazim added.

“The operation resulted in killing 60 elements of the ISIS group including a key leader in the areas of western Anbar.”
