 60 ISIS elements killed in artillery shelling southwest of Kirkuk

(IraqiNews.com) Kirkuk – Abbas Combat Regiment of al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia announced on Thursday killing about 60 elements of the ISIS during an artillery shelling southwest of Kirkuk.

The general supervisor of Abbas Combat Regiment, Maitham al-Zaidi, said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “Today, Abbas Regiment fired a large number of rockets on sites for ISIS in the vicinity of al-Rashad (35 km southwest of Kirkuk),” adding that, “The shelling resulted in the death of about 60 ISIS elements, in addition to destroying their warehouses of weapons and ammunition.”
