Car bomb kills 7, wounds 25 in southern Baghdad during an al-Husseiniya march

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) On Sunday a source within the police force stated that a car bomb at al-Ellam in southern Baghdad resulted in 32 casualties.

The source informed IraqiNews.com “This afternoon, an explosion took place during the al-Husseiniya march in the week of Ashura near al-Darwish in al-Ellam, located in southern Baghdad. The explosion resulted in 7 dead and resulted in 25 injured among civilians.”

“Ambulances ran into the area of the explosion and carried the victims to a near hospital while also took the dead bodies and sent them to the Forensic Medicine Authority. Some were also reported as critically injured” said the source.
