7 killed, 3 wounded in car explosion in central Baghdad

( Baghdad – A source in the Iraqi police announced on Monday that the outcome of the car bomb explosion in Sadoun Street area in central Baghdad stood at 10 dead and wounded.

The source said in an interview for, “The outcome of the car bomb that exploded this evening inside a parking garage in Saadoun Street area in central Baghdad amounted to seven dead and three wounded.”

The source, who asked anonymity, added: “the security forces cordoned off the scene, while ambulances rushed to transport the wounded to a nearby hospital and the bodies of the dead to the forensic medicine department.”

A security source had said earlier on Monday that a car bomb exploded inside a parking garage in Sadoun Street in central Baghdad.
