(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Interior Ministry announced on Sunday, that seven people had been either killed or wounded in the explosion of an explosive device in central Baghdad.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “a bomb exploded at noon today in Sheikh Omar District in central Baghdad, resulting in the death of one person and wounding six others.”

The source, who asked anonymity, added: “the security forces rushed to the scene and transported the wounded to a nearby hospital for treatment and the body of the dead man to the forensic medicine department.”
