7 people killed and wounded in bomb blast north of Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Iraqi Interior Ministry announced on Thursday, that seven people had been either killed or wounded in a bomb blast north of Baghdad.
The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “A bomb exploded this morning near a popular market in Rashidiya area north of Baghdad, killing one person and wounding six others.”
The source, who asked anonymity, added: “A security force rushed to the scene and transported the wounded to a nearby hospital for treatment and the body of the dead man to the forensic medicine department.”
