(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Monday, a source in the Ministry of Interior announced, that seven people had been either killed or wounded in a bomb blast in northern Baghdad.

The source reported for IraqiNews.com, “A bomb exploded, at noon today, near shops in al-Kera’iyat area in northern Baghdad, killing one person and wounding six others.”

The source, who asked to be anonymous, added, “A security force rushed to the incident area and transferred the wounded to a nearby hospital to receive treatment and the dead body to the forensic medicine department, while cordoned off the area and barred approaching it.”
