7 people killed, wounded in bomb blast east of Baghdad

( Baghdad – On Thursday, a source in the Iraqi Ministry of Interior announced, that seven people had been either killed or wounded in a bomb blast east of Baghdad.

The source said in a statement followed by, “This morning, a bomb exploded near industrial shops in al-Amin District east of Baghdad, killing one person and wounding six others.”

The source added, “A security force rushed to the area and transferred the wounded to a nearby hospital for treatment and the dead body to the forensic medicine department, while a raid was carried out to search for the perpetrators of the bombing.”
