(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – Spokesman of the international coalition Christopher Garver said that the number of international coalition troops in Iraq have reached 7000 soldiers and this exclude the staff of the US embassy in Baghdad.

Christopher Garver said during a press conference at the US embassy in central Baghdad, said, “The international coalition has 7000 soldiers in Iraq excluding the employees in the US embassy in Baghdad,” adding, “There are thousands of coalition soldiers in Iraq who are working as pilots and aircraft workers.”

Garver added, “The international coalition aviation has conducted 70 air strikes last week against ISIS in Iraq. The coalition aviation also conducted 450 air strikes against ISIS to back the Iraqi security forces around the Euphrates River.”

“The international coalition trained 23000 and 750 members of the Iraqi security forces including forces from the Anti-Terrorism Directorate, Army and Police,” he added.
