8 people killed, wounded in bomb blast northwest of Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Wednesday, a source in the Ministry of Interior announced, that eight people had been either killed or wounded in a bomb blast northwest of Baghdad.
The source said in an interview followed by IraqiNews.com, “An explosive device exploded, at noon today, near shops in al-Tobji area northwest of Baghdad, killing one person and injuring seven others.”
The source, who asked anonymity, added, “A security force rushed to the area and transferred the wounded to a nearby hospital for treatment and the dead body to the forensic medicine department, while carried out raids to search for the perpetrators of the bombing.”
