8 people killed, wounded in bombing northeast of Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Interior Ministry announced on Tuesday, that eight people have been either killed or wounded in a bomb blast northeast of Baghdad.
The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “An IED that was emplaced inside a vehicle exploded, this evening, in Bob al-Sham area north-east of Baghdad, killing one person and injuring seven passengers. ”
The source, who asked to remain anonymous, added: “Ambulances rushed to the area and transported the wounded to a nearby hospital for treatment and the body of the dead man to the forensic medicine department, while the security forces cordoned off the area of the incident and prevented approaching it.”
