8 volunteer fighters injured in clashes with ISIS southern Tikrit

Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) On Sunday, a security source in Salahuddin province said, that eight elements of al-Hashed al-Sha’bi have been injured in clashes with the ISIS group militants in southern Tikrit.

The source stated to IraqiNews in an interview, “Violent clashes between the security forces backed by al-Hashed al-Sha’bi fighters and the ISIS group elements have broken out in the area of Makshifiyah in the district of Dijla, located in southern Tikrit,” pointing out that, “The fierce clashes resulted in eight injuries among the forces of al-Hashed al-Sha’bi.”

“The size of lose, which has been inflicted upon ISIS ranks, is hard to be determined”, the source added.
