9 citizens killed, wounded in bomb blast south-west of Baghdad

( Baghdad – On Monday, a source in the Iraqi Ministry of Interior announced, that nine people had been either killed or wounded in a bomb blast south-west of Baghdad.

The source said in a statement followed by, “This afternoon, a bomb exploded in the area of Euphrates neighborhood south-west of Baghdad, killing two people and injuring seven others.”

The source added, “A security force rushed to the area and transferred the wounded to a nearby hospital to receive treatment and the dead bodies to the forensic medicine department, while carried out a raid operation to search for the perpetrators of the bombing.”
