9 ISIS elements killed in artillery shelling north of Mosul

( Nineveh – On Thursday, Kurdistan Democratic Party announced, that nine elements of the so-called ISIS were killed in an artillery shelling carried out by the Peshmerga forces north of Mosul (405 km north of Baghdad), while indicated to the destruction of two vehicles belonging to ISIS in the shelling.

The Kurdistan Democratic Party’s Spokesman in Mosul Saeed Mamousini said in a statement followed by, “This morning, Peshmerga forces have carried out an artillery shelling on ISIS headquarters in the village of Baskhara in Bashiqa axes (17 km north of Mosul), killing nine elements of the ISIS organization and destructing two vehicles belonging to them.”

Noteworthy, ISIS controlled the city of Mosul in Nineveh Province (405 km north of Baghdad) in the tenth of June 2014, while extended its terrorist activities to other areas of Iraq and committed many violations against humanity.
