9 people killed, wounded in bomb blast near popular market northeast of Baghdad

(IraqinNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Interior Ministry announced on Tuesday, that nine people had been either killed or wounded in a bomb blast near a popular market northeast of Baghdad.
The source said in an interview for IraqinNews.com, “A bomb exploded before noon today in a market in al-Shaab area northeast of Baghdad, killing two people and injuring seven others .”
The source, who asked anonymity, added: “Ambulances rushed to the scene and transported the wounded to a nearby hospital for treatment, and the bodies of the dead to the forensic medicine department,” without giving further details.
