9 people killed, wounded in the explosion of explosive device north of Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Interior Ministry announced on Sunday, that nine people had been either killed or wounded in the explosion of an explosive device north of Baghdad.
The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “A bomb exploded at noon today in al-Kraat area north of Baghdad, resulting in the death of two people and injuring seven others.”
The source, who asked anonymity, added: “the security forces rushed to the scene and transported the wounded to a nearby hospital for treatment, and the bodies of the dead to the forensic medicine department.”
