(IraqiNews.com) ANBAR – The commander of Anbar Operations Maj. Gen. Ismail Mahlawi informed on Sunday that eleven (11) ISIS headquarters were destroyed and a dozen members of the outfit killed during aerial raids towards east of Ramadi

“The international coalition aviation and the Iraqi Air Force bombed 11 ISIS headquarters in Khalidiya Island, 23 km east of Ramadi. Not only were the headquarters destroyed, but a dozen ISIS members were also killed in the raids,” informed Mahlawi through a statement issued to the media.

Adding further Mahlawi said, “The shelling comes in preparation that has been made for the liberation of Khalidiya Island.”
