Al-hashd al-Sha’bi denies its elements burned houses

(IraqiNews.com) The Valunteer Fighters (al-hashd al-Sha’bi) spokesman Ahmed al-Asadi denied on Sunday, that its elements have burned houses in Salahuddin, pledging to bring whoever is involved to justice.
Asadi said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “Al-hashd al-Sha’bi works to cleanse Tikrit from IEDs to bring nack the residents to their homes,” noting that, “We received no statements from the Council of Salahuddin about any of our elements emptying and burning houses in al-Dour district.”
Al-Asadi vowed to bring whoever is involved to justice, adding that al-Hashd al-Sha’bi’s mission is to protect citizens and families and help them to return to their houses.
