(IraqiNews.com) Diyala – The head of the Security Committee of Diyala Provincial Council Sadiq Husseini announced on Monday, that al-Hashed al-Sha’bi formations in Dayala province have declared a state of “maximum alert” in preparation to the battle of Ramadi.

Husseini said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “all formations of al-Hashed al-Sha’bi in Diyala have declared a state of maximum alert and had begun preparation to participate in the battle of Ramadi and support the security forces and tribal fighters.”

“Large forces of al-Hashed al-Sha’bi will participate in the battle to liberate Ramadi and nearby areas,” stressing that, “the incidents of Ramadi have a very serious impact on the public security, and the decision to speed up to liberate it; is a strategic decision,” Husseini added.

  1. More importantly, the US needs to get serious about their anti-ISIS efforts and stop cherry-picking which Shiite militia it will and won’t support. Its child play. War is perception and right now Baghdad is losing.
