(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – The commander of Anbar Operations Maj. Gen. Ismail Mahlawi announced on Monday the killing of 10 ISIS elements in an aerial bombardment by the international coalition in Ramadi.

Mahlawi said in an interview for IraqiNews.com “the international coalition, in coordination with Anbar Operations Command, had managed to bomb a vehicle driven by a suicide bomber in an attempt to target military units that were stationing in Albu Faraj region north of Ramadi.”

Mahlawi added that:  “the coalition aircraft were able to destroy the booby-trapped vehicle and kill the suicide bomber before reaching the target, without causing human or material losses.”

On the other hand, Mahlawi also indicated that “the coalition aircraft bombed ISIS headquarters and gatherings in Albu Faraj  area, killing 10 elements of the organization.”
