Anbar Operations repel ISIS attack on military headquarters north of Ramadi

( Anbar – On Saturday the commander of Anbar Operations Major General Ismail al-Mahalawi announced repelling an attack launched by ISIS on a military headquarters north of Ramadi, while pointed out to the wounding of a soldier during the confrontations.

Mahalawi said in a press statement obtained by, “ISIS members launched an attack on the headquarters of the army’s 36th infantry brigade in al-Grayshi area north of Ramadi.”

Mahalawi added, “A force from the headquarters clashed with the ISIS members and forces them to withdraw,” pointing out that, “A soldier was wounded during the confrontations.”
