Anti-Terrorism forces advance to center of Sijariya, kill 17 ISIS militants

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – On Thursday the Commander of the 3rd special operations brigade in the Anti-Terrorism Bureau Major General Sami Kadim al-Aredi announced, that the Anti-Terrorism forces advanced toward the center of al-Sijariya, while pointed out to the killing of 17 members of the so-called ISIS.

Aredi said in a press statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “Today the Anti-Terrorism forces managed to enter the center of al-Sijariya area east of Ramadi,” pointing out that, “The Anti-Terrorism forces clashed with ISIS fighters and were able to kill 17 fighters of the organization.”

“The international coalition aviation, Iraqi Army Aviation and Iraqi Army dealt with ISIS hideouts in the area,” Aredi added.
