 Anti-Terrorism forces evacuate 30 families north of Ramadi

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – On Wednesday the commander of the 3rd special brigade of the Anti-Terrorism Bureau Major General Sami Kadim al-Aredi announced, that the security forces evacuated 30 families from the Modern Village north of Ramadi.

Aredi said in a brief statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “The Anti-Terrorism forces and army troops liberated the Modern Village, as well as cleansing Zankoura area north of Ramadi,” pointing out that, “These troops managed to release 30 families, mostly women and children, that were used by ISIS as human shields in the Modern Village.”

Aredi added, “The released families were transferred to the IDP camp in Km.7 area west of Ramadi.”
