Security forces liberate area in Baghdadi, 7 ISIS members killed west of Ramadi

( Anbar – On Monday, al-Jazeera and al-Badiya Operations Command in Anbar Province announced liberating an area northwest of Baghdadi vicinity west of Ramadi (110 km west of Baghdad), while pointed out to the killing of seven members of the so-called ISIS during the operation.

The commander of al-Jazeera and al-Badiya Operations, Maj. Gen. Ali Ibrahim Dabon, said in a brief statement obtained by, “The joint forces from the army and al-Jzeera Operations 7th brigade backed by tribal fighters managed, before noon today, to liberate Swinakh area northwest of Baghdadi vicinity (70 km west of Ramadi) from the ISIS control,” noting that, “The operation resulted in the killing of seven ISIS members.”

Dabon added, “The security forces shelled ISIS strongholds near Swinakh area in preparation for storming them in the next few hours.”
