Army forces arrest 20 wanted men near Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi army personnel on Sunday arrested 20 wanted persons near Ninewa’s Mosul city, according to a local source. “The arrests took place in al-Aytha village, al-Qayara district (60 km south of Mosul),” a source from Ninewa’s Operations Command told Iraqi News. “Arrest warrants have been issued for the men on charges of manufacturing explosive devices and planting car bombs,” the source added. Mosul, the capital city of Ninewa province, lies 405 km north of Baghdad. SS (P) 1
